Anyone here ever tried cast bullets in a 500 J. I have a 550gr G/C mould and would like to work out a load at around 1400-1500 fps.
Any suggestions from anyone re powders to try?
Just really like shooting the rifle, but have no need to fire full loads all the time (expensive!)

I loaded some, not mach.. The previous owner gave me all of his data. He shot a lot of lead. If you have an email or fax I could forward you some of his information and you use it for whatever it's worth to you. His notes will indicate you should probably back off some.
