monterorecovered TSX in .416
These TSX's were recoverd from buffalo and hartebeest.
I would have not expected to recover a .416 TSX in a hartebeest even in 350 grainers.

NavalukLoad data please. Especially speed.
Impact point on each shot and where bullet was recovered would be of interest.
Thanks

monteroThey were loaded with 104gr of Tubal 8000 and WLR-Mag primers for 2,650 fps muzzle speed. This powder is slow burning, comparable to Norma MRP and Reloader 22.
L to R
-Hartebeest shot at 190 yds slightly head on. Hit on the shoulder and found under the skin on the opposite side.
-Buffalo shot at the base of the neck perfectly broadside at 80 yds.
-Finishing shot to a Wildebeest at point blank range. Hit low in the chest, went through the heart and lodged under the skin close to the spine, which it did not touch.
-145 yard shot on buffalo very slightly quartering away. It broke the humerous and lodged in the muscle failing to break the opposite shoulder blade.

p dog shooterLooks to me like complete bullet failures to me they didn't give two holes like a lot want on this board.

Just stiring the pot
I think they would do just fine in my taylor also.
