Houston Big Bore shoot update
I want to thank AR member Rusty for meeting with me at the Bayou Rifles, Inc. range in Juliff to let me shoot some of his rifles. We met at 4pm on June 9. I had expressed interest in shooting a .375 H&H. He brought a .375, a 9.3, a .404 Jeffery and a 450/400, and let me shoot all of them!

I was really on the fence about the .375 or a bigger caliber like the .404 or a .416. Boy, Rusty really settled it for me. Shooting the .40's was "interesting", but I'm going with the .375.

Rusty, I'm looking out for an Interarms mauser just like you had. If you have any leads, please let me know.

I think Rusty's mama must have done a pretty good jon raising him. He does a frist class job of sharing his "toys". He is a real pleasure to be around anytgime.

The pleasure was all mine! I really enjoyed meeting you and Jim. I'll keep an eye peeled for a Whitworth as well.

Thanks again for your service to our country!

pevtsovy,

It sounds like y'all had fun. The Whitworths are out there, but you have to really keep an eye out for them. They go very quickly and the price keeps inching up.

Well done, Rusty.........again!
