Dude, tolerable recoil indeed. It doesn't even bother me at the least because of stock fit and weight. Isn't it cool to shoot something bigger than an 06 that doesn't give you headaches and make you "blow snot"? That and my 458 WinMag are the softest shooting big guys that I have. How's your trigger pull, mine's at 3# and absolutely crisp.

I don't have a trigger pull scale but would guess it at 3-3 1/2lbs. and it too is crisp.The recoil feels less to me than my Sav 116 in 338 Win.Mag.
