ScrollcutterAmerican made magazine rifle.
This rifle doesn't qualify as a big bore, but check this out.
web page I thought I would post this because I noticed awhile back somebody made reference to movie star rifles.
I worked in conjunction with Maurice for about 15 years (He outsourced his engraving to me). He built them right. First he made them function flawlessly. Then he made 'em look good. And, they handle superbly.
Maurice passed away some years back, but there are many more American craftsmen who build quality rifles.
I have been in the trade for over 20 years and have worked primarily on high grade English, European and American rifles. When it comes to doubles, it is English all the way. As for magazine rifles, make mine a high grade American made rifle.

Nice rifle, indeed.
I think it's to much of the gold and engarving. A more Brittish style would be better in my opinion, but everyone has their taste.
Too bad that Maurice past away. I have seen a very nice 9,3X64 that he built on a ZG-47. I would like to have it.

ScrollcutterJohan...Thanks for the comments. I, too, prefer a bit less gold. But, the customer gets to choose. For my liking, subtle is better.
I shot that 9.3x64! It was incredibly accurate. Maurice built that rifle for himself. He finally sold it to a fellow on the east coast, I believe. The ZG-47 and the ZG-49 were his favorite actions to work with.
