Weaver Grand Slam on a bigbore?

I have a weaver GS 1.5x5, has anybody tried one on a bigbore and if so to what end? If not a suitable scope what experience leads to the opinion? I know what response I would receive if I asked for opinions and I would agree with most of them. Just looking for opinions on the weaver gs. Thanks. Rob

I use thier 6x20 variable for load developement on both my .375 and my .300.

Believe it or not I tried one on my 500A2 it has held together for 50 shots so far. I'm reasonably impressed. -Rob

If you decide to take it hunting in Africa, be sure to take an extra scope just in case.

The Leupold 2.5x fixed is the scope with an impeccable record for durability on big bores (458 lott and above).
