gerrybAHR 458 LOTT
i finally shot my 458 lott that AHR built for me after several years of not being used and it sure surprised me.
with 500 tsx 2300 fps and with the 450 gs hv customs was just shy of 2500 fps with no pressure signs and with the gs fn solids also pushing 2500 fps made one ragged hole at 100 yards.
the gun has no brake and I guess it is the stock design AHR uses but recoil was not bad at all, I have similar experience with several other guns and all seem to have really manageable recoil. WEll done Wayne

bigdoggy700I have shot lots and lots of big guns and my factory Ruger #1 in 458 lott slapped the shit out of me. Their recoil pad is not very good at all. Gun weighs 9.25 lbs.

BigFiveJackI'll wager that the rifle gives great service for decades.

Hey Gerryb
I can't say I am suprised at all. My AHR-built 600 OK is a pleasure to shoot.

AHR and Wayne (Bitterroot here) have my deepest respect and admiration for doing a great job, doing it for a great price and delivering it on time or ealier than promised.
The very best there is!
