GanyanaI have shot one buffalo with a 286grn Oryx from my 9,3x62. Worked ok, but penetration was a little marginal for poor angle shots. Fine for a client, but not for a PH taking a back up shot.
I love them for lion, just about perfect balance between expansion and penetration.
Have also used them fairly extensively for shooting Eland and Zebra for lion bait. Work well.
They were designed for moose, so should be fine for all north american game except perhaps polar bear

Husqvarna M98the new 325 grains .366 bullet has gotten great rewievs from the african plains,
apparently that bullet is a bit harder than the other oryx.
Best regards Chris

Greg RI have shot a variety of animals with the oryx. It's a good bullet, but I think it expands too much and penetrates too little for dangerous game. I'd stick with A-Frames, Bear Claws, or TSXs if I were you.

AbobI'll be using them primarily for moose so they should be the ticket
