AtkinsonRe: 4 round floorplate for CZ in .416 Rigby
All I have seen hold 4 down and one in the hole, in 416 Rigby.
My 404 built off a 375 held 5 404s down and one in the hole as I recall....
The 375s you can load on Sunday and shoot a buffalo a day until sat. midnight.....

CZ 550s are drop boxes....

WillFor some reason, that I didn't discover, some of them got 4 down and some 3. The one I had would only get 3 down. They may have changed the magazine box along the way at some time.

AndyRIP,
My 450 Dakota built on CZ 550 action in BRNO 602 McMillan stock holds 3 1/2!
I think Id need more than 1/10th inch to make 4.
Maybe the shoulder diameter is greater on the Dakota then parent Rigby case?
Who replaced your follower spring?

cducatHi RIP
My 550 in .375 is a '00 model and the 416 is an '02. The 416 is away at the gunsmith (still not feeding right)but from memory the mag box was identical to the 375 and even had '375' stamped on it. Does this sound right? If not I'm wondering if it has something to do with its bad 'pushfeeding' habit?

Gringo Cazadormy 416 is stamped 375 and it feeds slick as a gut and got 4 down. Or it did in the hogback stock, I've taken a little bit off the mag box to get it to fit the stock I'm building, have concerns on getting 4 down. Not far enough along to check it.

tiggertateThe real answer is YES. Jim Wisner is making a run of floorplates that will install directly onto the CZ bottom metal and give the additional clearance. I suspect they will be in the white and need a trip somewhere to be blued, though. I don't know when they will be ready as he has many other things going on but if I can remember I'll post it when he tells me they are done.
