I can get RL17 locally, and it's been suggested to try it in lieu of the impossible to find RL15. So might give it a spin before I order some Norma powder or do 4064.

Can someone run a quickload run for me and give an idea of what the start load is and what the max load and velocity would be?

I would be pushing a 260 accubond in federal cases using a Winchester Mag primer.

QL shows 74 grains of RL 17 at 50,000 psi and 2695 fps with the 260 gr Nos AB. 78.5 grains shows 60,000 psi and 2860 fps, it is a compressed load. RL17 is actually better when used with the 300 grain bullets.

Thanks for that! I am only hoping to hit 2750, so that will work well in lieu of RL15 it seems, though maybe 4064 or Norma 203b might be better, not sure. But the RL17 is here in town.....

Well, I based on this, I went to get the RL17 and it's all gone.

Under the same conditions, what other powders does quickload recommend? 4064, 760 and 4350 come to mind, but not sure they will make the speed at that pressure.
