577NitroExpressButch Searcy's Western Double Rifle Championship
Did anyone make it out to the Western Double Rifle Championship that Butch sponsored?
If so, how was it?

Butch SearcyYou guys in the Sacromento area that missed this shoot, missed a good time as well as an informative one. The event started at 8:30 am and ended with the last contestant at 4:00 pm. As soon as I get all the names and details from the event handler I'll post more details. The gentleman that won first place used a Krieghoff 500 N.E. and boy could he shoot, second was also a Krieghoff 7X64 R I believe, and third was a Searcy 470 N.E. shot by Greg Allyn (Surestrike).

577NitroExpressThanks for the update, Butch. I was trying to get my old man to go out, but his surgery was scheduled for a week before and wasn't comfortable flying to the west coast while still healing.
I had too many obligations at home, so I couldn't attend

Sorry I missed it, as I only live about 15 miles from where it was held, but with as much as I have been away from home lately my wife suggested that if I went I better not come home. The up side is that she actually suggested that barring some financial disaster, I order a rifle from you after the first of the year.
