chadr450 marlin
My brother-in-law just won a 450 marlin guide gun at a bash. I am looking for reloading data for a 350 gr flatnose. I can only find the hodgdon online info so far,and it only lists h powders. I guess that any powder suited for the heavier bullets in a 444 marlin or a 45-70 would work, but I don't know about the starting charge weights. Help.

jeffeossoChad,
Grab a hornady book for this one, or at least talk to a friend about it. Hodgedon was the only source for loads, for awhile.

http://www.imrpowder.com/rifle/new011402/450mar_3_data.htmlthe 350 is the right choice, as the 300 are meant for LOW 45/70 velocities.
