For Dg, the 380NF or various 400gr are the ticket. I would like to see a more streamlined 350gr for plainsgame / NA hunting. If there was enough interest, NF might be talked into making there great bullet in a 340-350gr wt. Check out some of the posts on the bullet making thread. Some smaller makers might be up to the task.

What weights and styles of bullets do .404 owners prefer...does anyone like the 350 gr woodleigh or is the 400 gr the only bullet weight worth considering ??
