jro45The CZ 458 Lott can kill
Can kill any animal in the world. It is an Elphant rifle or any of the big 5.
What do you think?

GeorgeSI doubt anyone would argue with that statement, given proper bullet placement and appropriate bullets.

ovnyWe believe, with 500 grains flying at 2300 feet per second I think is a good argument for elephants, buffalo and other dangerous wildlife. It is my choice.

LivesToHuntI own the CZ 550 American Safari Magnum in .458 Lott and it is a great rifle. For such a big bore it is an extremely accurate gun. The two reviews on on the CZ product from Guns and Ammo and Gun Blast.com were extremely positive. From GunBlast.com review:
"It is arguably the best rifle of its type on the market today. It is constructed of wood and steel, it has an excellent trigger, good accuracy, superb sights, and is priced considerably below its competition. It also has a greater magazine capacity than any competitive rifle available. The Safari Magnum is built on a time-tested and proven action, and is chambered for cartridges capable of taking any game on Earth."
From the Guns and Ammo review:
"Chalk up another for the .458 Lott and the second for CZ's very affordable Model 550 Safari Magnum. Without reservation I can recommend this fine new CZ rifle to any hunter looking for a relatively inexpensive but well-made stopping rifle. Chambered for the .458 Lott, it will do all you need done, and it won't break the bank, leaving you with more money for trophy fees. I don't see a compromise in that, do you?"
I own a CZ in .223 Rem and that rifle is extremely accurate. My wife had never picked-up a rifle before until she shot my CZ 527 Carbine and she shot a five shot string touching each other righ on the vertical axis. She shot three more strings with the same results. I think CZ makes a great product.
Now my next goal is to hunt Africa so I can put my .458 Lott with Leupold VX-III 1.5 x 5 to good use. My dream is to hunt the "Big Six". The .458 Lott is a match for any game on earth.
