Barnes banded flat nose solid
I just got a couple of boxes of the new Barnes 300 grain flat nose, banded solids and 300 grain TSX bullets delivered and what a difference in design!
The banded solids are yellow (brass looking) with a BC of .307 and a SD of .305 while the TSX flatbase are the copper color with a BC of .555 and a SD .305. The big flat nose on the solid looks like serious medicine!
Now, I just have to figure out some loading data for them. Does anyone know of any published data for these new for 2005, bullets?

MHC_TXI got some 400 grainers (Banded Solids) for my 416 Rigby. I've loaded some up using my 400 grain Barnes X load. Haven't had a chance to shoot them yet, but they feed real nice.

458WinI talked to Clair Rees at Barnes and he suggested using data from any other source for the same bullet weight. Minus 10% to start with of course.
