PfeiferGoering's 500 Jeffery up for auction...
I was poking around on the Greg Martin auction site and came across a few interesting lots:
1) 12.7x79 Schuler(500 J) that belonged to Herr Goering, a beautiful rifle with an interesting magazine box extension! #1265
2) .470 NE that belonged to DS Hopkins (H in OKH) #1258
3) Lancaster double in .303 that belonged to ol Elmer himself #1259
Here's the link:
Gerg Martin June 2006 Auction use the "Search the Online Catalog" link then enter the Lot #
Thought some of the big bore collectors here would be interested.

Art S.It may be an O/U, but #1261 is about as cheap as you will ever get into the .577 double market. Look at the closeup of the right side of the stock/action. I would certainly want to epoxy up that flaw at the front of the stock before shooting that bad boy.
