I have a Winchester Model 70 in 375 H&H and I am getting a new stock for it and would like to do away with the front sling stud and have a barrel band installed. Any thoughts as to what my options are for the band and where can I purchase one.

Good source for the barrel band would be New England Custom Guns, NECG, or you can order one from Brownell's. Other sources are out there, but these two I use. Google NECG and believe that will bring up their site.

Midwayusa offers them from I believe three suppliers. NECG, Talley, and Gentry.
