If and when the Ruger #1 finally becomes available chambered for the 450/400 round, will there be comercially loaded ammo to go with it or is it a roll your own proposition?

If I remember correctly, Hornady has committed to producing ammunition for it.

Ruger would not announce the rifle without a commitment for ammunition.

Whether or not the rifle will ever be built is another thing.

Ammo has been commercially available for it for years. Hornady's new .400 ammo is projected to be available in May.
