At least historically Weatherby ammo used Hornady bullets.

How old is it? They presently load only Hornady, Nosler and Barnes bullets, I think. Most probably they are Nosler Partitions in that caliber if they are recent. If I remember correctly they are manufactured by Norma and probably distributed in the US by Federal (who distributes Norma) so you might ask someone there.

just out of curiosity.....where did you find so much of this ammo?? i haven't seen 375 H&H for a long time. you're not confusing it with 375 Weatherby are you? last time i saw 375 H&H was about 2 years ago at Gamaliel and it was on a "closeout sale" for $20 a box. i haven't seen any quantity of it since then....just an occassional box at a gun show.

If it doesn't specify a bullet (e.g., Partition, 'X', etc.), it is probably a Hornady 'Interlock'.

Pull one cartridge down and section the bullet.

Bill Smith,
When you talk about Gamaliel are you talking about Gamaliel Shooting Supply in Kentucky or some where else?

I would agree with GeorgeS on Hornady

Yes. You posted it, and I was lurking, and bought 20 boxes.
So they are Hornady?
That gives me a lead to look at bullet profiles.

Thanks

I have also been told that the Weatherby "soft points" are Hornady interlocks.

Bill Smith,
Reason why I was wondering if you were talking about gamaliel shooting supply in Gamaliel Ky is because Gamaliel is where I live and my sister is married to the owner's brother.

I wish I could but I really don't get any better deals than anyone else and that is the truth. If I buy a new gun I can actually get a better deal by drving to Owensboro to Whittaker's but here I am only about 3 miles from Gamaliel Shooting supply and I know them all real good so if the price is close it's a lot more convinient to buy here.
