4 Bore rifle brass cases needed
Hi,
A good friend of mine owns a 4 bore rifle that he needs brass cases for.

Where can he find those cases?

Cheers

Husky, there are countless non-interchangeable cartridges that go by "4-bore." He needs to get good measurements of an existing case for this gun, or better yet, make a chamber cast and send it to Dave Casey at RMC who will custom make cases for the guns chambers. Dave's brass is top of the line and then some!

Otherwise, if you can get this specific dimensions and post them here someone may have something that will fit.

Hi Bob and hubel,

I will tell the man to make a chamber cast, that wouldn't be any problem for him.

The rifle is a single barrel, Greener or Woodward, will check that also.

Talk to Big Doggy 700 here or the Safari Kid. Owens provides the brass and loaded ammunition for theirs. His is standard dimensions. I shot BD700's in September. My wife is thinking about having the two empties made into salt & pepper shakers. Half pound capacity ones.

His being an older gun, it probably isn't
Owen's, mine and others who wants to
make it the standard bore of 1 inch.
His may one of old standards, a .935" bore with
rifling added for about a .950" groove.Ed
