If you wish, I'll copy and fax (or e-mail) the A-Square manual page for the cartridge.

You are not regulating the rifle, hopefully that has already been done by the maker. You are making a load that shoots to the regulation. Symantecs but important for understanding.

This is my load.

Rifle: Alex Henry
Bullet: 400 grain Woodleigh
Charge: 81 grains IMR 4831
Primer: Federal 215
Velocity: 2125 fps
Group: 1/2" @ 50 yards

this is from Ray Atikinson.

Another good load is 71.5 grs. of RL-15 with 3 grs. of dacron and a 400 gr. bullet...For the 3" version just leave the dacron out....Fed 215 and Bell, RWS cases....

Welcome back Judge. thumb

I use Ray's load and Mickey's ,,but at 80 grains,

If you contact Bill @ BIll's Accuracy SHop on the estern shore of Maryland he has some loads worked up, also,, both smokeless and BP

Is this a new or old rifle?

I would suggest that you use RL-15 plus filler in an older Cordite proofed rifle.
Here is a link to the article that elaborates on the process.
