PCTrade it on a CZ .375 and have that converted to the rum. You will have CRF and more rounds in the mag. The little extra weight will make it nicer to shoot as well.
Another poster has done this and his rig turned out magnificent.
Hope this helps PC.

RobgunbuilderYes, you can rechamber a 375 H&H to a 375 Rum. A 375 RUM chamber reamer will completely clean up a 375 H&H chamber. remington barrels are pretty good as is and why spring for a new one if you don't have too? Twist is the same and no change to the boltface is required.. The only change will be you need a new mag box to accomodate the width of the 375 RUM. Brownells sells em cheap! Any competent gunsmith should be able to do this for you for under $150. I would strongly reccomend a second barrel mounted recoil lug and lots of glass bedding..-Rob

Mike375UJW,
If it is a Remington Stainless in the "rubber" stock you will not need a barrel recoil lug.
A mate of mines 7mm Rem was rebarreled to 300 Ultra and that fed fine but was limited to two in the magazine.
I think the factory Ultra magazine box has some of the sides removed at the front of the box so the cases can spread out just a little bit which then allows three rounds in the magazine. The standard box is just short of holding three round...but it is almost there.
