Mark ClarkPhoenix SCI Big Bore Shoot
The Phoenix SCI Chapter held a Big Bore Shoot today at Shooters World, an indoor range in Glendale AZ. They had a great display of guns from Granite Mountain Arms and guns belonging to members. For the price of ammo they could be shot. I fired a 577 double and a 505 bolt gun.
There was also a raffle, a 375 closest to the bull's-eye and a Poker hand shoot with a 22LR
Every time one of the really big boys was fired it felt like the building was hit by a truck.
More than a dozen GMA guns in a row… Wow. And you could shoot them!!
Thanks to all who organized, brought their guns and worked at the event.

+1, I was there too firing for the first time calibers above .375. Quit at the .505 Gibbs, far more than enough for me.
