470 MbogoCalendar Girls and Guns Yahoo!!
Thought you might enjoy this. The calendar girls next door wanted to go shooting and try some big guns. I had to oblige it was right up my alley. The picture below is of Julie myself and Katherine. Neither has any real shooting experience but they were both game to try.
The first video clip is of Julie who started with a 22 caliber repeater and then to her first shot on the video with a 30-30 Win. The second shot on the video is with a full 405 grain bullet at 1850 fps. I think she did great.

This video clip shows her starting off with the full 405 grain load in my 45-70 followed by two shots with my 470 Mbogo loaded with 500 grain bullets at 2150 fps. Katherine wants to go out and give it another try figuring with a couple more tries she will be looking for the 2500 fps load. What do you think game girls or what!!

Dago RedSend them down here, I will let them shoot any gun I have. One is a redhead, you are truly a blessed man. Now they need to make a calendar with the moon and guns, showing that guns can be beautiful and are extensions of the earth, metal and wood made beautiful. :-)

Like fine wine it is very tasteful. The smutty ones are a dime a dozen. Same reason your holding that beautiful double. Did you get a kick out of the videos. I crack up everytime I watch them.

Katherine handles that 470 pretty well! Kinda reminds me of Saeed's videos.
I am impressed that she went for a second one. I have a couple friends (200 plus pound guys no less) that are too scared to try it even once.

I was very impressed myself. She is really keen to try again and work the loads up. On the second shot she mentioned that she forgot to lean into the shot.So she is thinking about what she's doing. It would be interesting to video the shots and sort of keep track of the progress of her shooting skills. Personally I think with some practice she will be shooting full loads just fine. They did really good with the 45 ACP also.
