JefferyDenmarkWoodleigh Soft nose for wild boar
Gentlemen
I am planning to use my .500 Jeffery on some wild boar and ferel hogs in Argentina with PH Juan Pozzi.
I would like to hear your opinion on the use of Woodleigh soft nose ammo.
The boars and hogs are huge and I think that the bullets should have plenty of time to expand.
Is there a bullet that expands faster and would that be better ?
I have heard of Lion load from A-Square ! is taht a good bullet for Boar ?
Please remember that I am only interested in bullets that are made in the caliber .510 !
I am planning to test the 370 Grn Impala bullet on this hunt also I hope to get +800m/sec I am still working on that load.
Cheers,
Andr

RustySeveral of our members, of the Double Rifle Shooters Society, have used Woodleighs on our Feral Hog hunts, with great success.
The only other bullet I have experience with would be the Hawk bullet. The Hawks can be had in 3 different jacket thicknesses..
HAWK BULLETS They do make a .510 bullet and do make special runs upon request.
The Hawk bullets are very soft and expand a great deal. That is the intention of their design.
