HenryC470"Baby" pictures
No, not mine. Does anyone know of pictures of Jeff Cooper's famous 460 G&A caliber ZKK? As far as I know, the rifle resides in Durban (RSA), not America.

fla3006Marrakai- Is that Samuel Baker's "Baby" ?

Marrakaifla3006:
It is indeed a photo of Jenna el Mootfah, Baker's 'Child of a Cannon', or 'baby' as he referred to it in his book "The Nile Tributaries of Abyssinia". Sorry I couldn't help with a photo of Cooper's infant! (I did look...)!

HunterJimMac,
That photo on p.415 of Gregor Woods' book is of one of Jeff Cooper's scout rifles. Baby was a .460 G&AQ custom made by George Hoenig on a BRNO M602 action with a drop box magazine. I always thought the lines were on the ugly side, but handsome is as handsome does.
Henry,
I have queried some sources in the Gunsite family, but no luck on an online photo of Baby. If I get one, I will email you.

<lb404>There is a picture of 'Baby" in Jeff Cooper's book, I am pretty sure. My copy is in OKC so I can not be 100% certain.
