Surestrike

Thanks for that. How durable is it - pretty much the same as blued chrome moly?

The only one I know of is done by Alan Nauman(sp?)of Corporal Trading fame. It is a baked on thing but the only example of it that I've seen was pretty ordinary - peeling and scratched etc and showing the silver metal where it had come off. I didn't like it at all and would much prefer a bead blasted stainless finish myself.

I'm interested in this stainless blueing tho. I've got a nice stainless m70 with an Accrabond laminated exh walnut stock and 3 barrels with banded sites and swivel bases (.338, 7mm RM and .257 Wea) which would look good blued.

That's a nice looking setup you have there. I've got a Model 70 Stainless in 375 Ackley Improved being fitted with an Accrabond Laminated stock now. I should have it back in 4 weeks.
For the metal, all I do is spray paint it with flat black engine paint. I've got a lot of people asking who did the blueing . When I dig out the spray can, you should see their jaw drop. Hey, it works, and touches up in only a second or two.

There is a SS synthetic socked Mod. 70 Classic Safari in 375 H&H standing in the gun rack at Collector's Firearms in Houston Texas. Or at least it was Friday.
