Burris 2.75x good for Mod 70 375?
Hey guys, there is a nice looking Burris in 2.75x on Ebay, wondering if that is a good piece of glass for a 375H&H. Will it stand up to the recoil? I have never owned Burris but hear that they are good.

Thanks.

RIP
Would that be the IER/Scout Scope? I have a Burris Scout Scope 2.75X, that I used first on a 375 Weatherby about 15 years ago (bear and deer hunting on Kodiak). I knocked a running blacktail buck down at 150 yards using that scope on the 375 Wby, but King Kong of Kodiak ran off before I could get in range.

After that the scope got transplanted to a 416 Rigby Ruger No.1, where it worked nicely, shoved full forward on the quarter rib, and still functioned well enough for me to take a fallow deer at 342 yards and water buffalo at 150 and 50 yards.

Burris makes a good scope. My 2.75X has taken some lickins and keeps on tickin'.

Though I prefer the standard eye relief scope, I can make do with a scout scope just fine.
