And he drives a 2002 Duramax.

CoonDawgDiesel sorry that you have to make the trip from AK2TX but welcome its not like any other place.
There's quite a few places to fish, most of the land is privately owned but there is public hunting. No season on Hawgs most are looked at to be pest(good eating deer season starts in Oct-early Feb. All depending on what you are using.
How soon will you be getting to SA? I'll check with some of the local gunshop around to see what they charge to receive your guns. Best bet is to bring them with you.
Send me an e-mail and I'll give you a lot more.

NitromanOh MAN! I am truly sorry to hear you are having to move to America. Nice place to visit but...wouldn't wanta live there. Oh...don't drink the water.
On the good note, Alaska will always be here for when you have to escape.

dwhunterI am sorry to hear that you have to move away from AK. I was there once, The Air Force made me leave in 85. I just got back from my third trip up there this year 2 days ago (I go every year), I spent 7 days in Anchorage. I am going back to hunt bear at the end of August outside of Fairbanks, trust me you never leave (mentally). I am living in TX now NW of San Antonio in Texarkana. There is some hunting but in most cases you need to know someone that has land or buy into a lease to get any good hunting as pressure on the public land can get fierce. Hang onto my email if you need any help adjusting I might be able to help, the withdrawals can be rough! I also have access to about 15k acres of land NW of San Antonio.
Good Luck!
