For this load development only 5 cases were used ...these cases were reloaded 22 times annealed every 5 reloads and trimmed several times
The primer pockets are still tight as in new cases , on the case heads there are no extractor marks....all seems good
Next i will be testing for accuracy

I have two loads for my 375 Ruger Guide Gun with a 20" barrel.
1. 78.5grs. of RL17 with a Nosler 300gr. Accubond averaged 2590fps with 1/2" 3-shot group at 100yds.
2. 73.0grs. of RL17 with a Woodleigh 350gr. PP averaged 2391fps. just under an 1" 3-shot group at 100yds. I like RL17 for the 375 Ruger.

there is a guy on the ALASKAN FORUM who is getting 2720 with a 300 tsx from his 20 in Ruger guide gun with phenominal accuracy
I love R17 in my 416 Ruger it gives me 2400 with single digit spread, same in the 375 Ruger
and the same in my 06 with the 200 gns noslers i get 2700 and the 180 noslers i get 2910

Thanks for the info. I'll be trying it for sure. Your beating the heck out of my H-4350 loads. Must be THE powder for the ruger.

As far as my take RL17 works good in the 375 Ruger and have no complaints on the velocity I am getting with the accurately as I am. Even pushing the Woodleigh 350 gr. PP load at almost 2400fps steps the 375 in another class. No complaints at all! Very happy with it. This is my primary elk gun with intention to go to Alaska and Africa some day. Not have to worry about having enough gun to do it.

i think a good bullet for the lighter game animals is the 260 Accubond, better then the 260 partition that i tested and , the retained vel out at 500/600 yards is impressive...i think it would make a great elk rifle if your accuracey/rifle is up to it

Those are some pretty fantastic velocities, interesting test and seem to be properly done. I like that Ruger 375.

I have shot a world of PG with with the 260 gr. Nosler Partitions in my 375 H&H including Kudu, Blue Wilderbeast, a giraffe, and more than a few Eland...I almost always got large exit holes on broadside shots. Its a great bullet for PG.. I like the 350 gr. Woodleigh PP or RN on DG or the heavy GS Custom HPs. For a solid its hard to beat the GSC flat point or the NO. fork cup point.

i think if i were to use the 260 in the 375 Ruger i would use the 260 accubond...the 260 nosler has got a rather blunt configuration compared to the 300 gn partition...plus the 260 accubond retains it velocity so much better then the 260 partition
pity they did not configure the 260 partition the same way they configured the 300 gn nosler partition

Wow! You got 22 reloads out of the same cases? Even with annealing, that's pretty impressive. Equally impressive are the velocities you're getting with the 300gr. projectiles. I didn't think the cartridge could do that under normal pressures. How was the accuracy?
