I have the grey laminate, golden varminter stock on my left handed MRC 6.5x284. The action to aluminum insert fit was very, very good and didn't require any bedding. My smith and I tried to bed it but the fit was so good that it barely left a smear of MarineTex on the aluminum when we squeezed the action into it.

Their top of the line stocks have some pretty wood on them also.
