Thanks for the info on the Horneber brass. I will send an order to Huntingtons next week (pay period). At $4.00/case, I will have to start with around 60, but I shoot my big guns almost exclusivly. How many times loaded should one expect from these cases?
These #2 cases add several expenses beyond a simple set of dies for another .458 caliber. You need a tall enough press, a long enough case trimmer with a big enough collet, a big enough shell holder, big amounts of powder, big enough shell boxes to store rounds...a 50 round box must weigh 20 lbs . All of a sudden, my "belted magnum" size equipment is too small .

You may want to try A-Square, I've been hearing some good things about their improved quality and availability.
