Ask for pictures.
Who did the gunsmithing?
What brand of sights were installed?
Does he have bases/rings for the rifle?
Has the safety been replaced or does it have original safety (same for the trigger)?
How does it feed?

I am not going to buy this rifle, but if his description is accurate, it sounds like pretty good deal.

At one time there was a photo. It has a type of
Adjustable stock. I know nothing of these. Looks like butt plate moves in and out. They are on polished Whitworth actions and a premium
barrel. I lost the photos and email he sent and can't remember the details. He lives in Delaware
and builds rifles part time. He said he used to have a shop in Texas and gave ref. here. Said 1"
group at 100. I do not know him and have never seen his work. He will send pic and his home phone. I do not like these stocks so I lost intrest.
