Does anyone else on this board literally dream of Africa and big rifles or am I the only crazy one? I had a very vivid dream last night that I completely assembled a .505 Gibbs from a CZ 550 action, a Walther BBL, a set of NECG sights, and a McMillan Express Stock. It kicked like a mule with the synthetic stock so I added a Sig/Blaser Tungsten Kick-Stop. Pretty impressive work seeing as how I'm NOT a gunsmith.
A few weeks ago I brain shot three cow elephants in rapid succession (two were charging) with my Winchester .416 (gotta make that dream a reality some day soon).
It's not enough apparently that I think about this stuff all day, now it has invaded my sub-conscious!

P.S. In my dreams, it's lion charges I stop, not elephants. Sometimes, I wake up 'excited', if you know what I mean.

It's fun that someone mention dreams they've had on this forum. I am capable of seeing what your dream actually says. I mean it is funny to see people actually sharing their innermost feelings,,but not being aware of it. I have been doing research in interpretation of dreams. And i am going to utterly explore the immense dimension of the dreamworld on my next course !
You're about to share some personal stuff as a dream actually tells you uncomfortable things,,having to do with your personal growing and psychological health. I'm not going to tell you more of this,,but as you can see,,i have explored in different ways the dream tell you things that are utterly important in your life,and the fortunate to interpret them,,like me,,will give your valuable info !

Your not crazy of course,,and i have also been dreaming some weird stuff regarding firearms. I dreamt about the .460 Wby once,since it is special,,like the .505 Gibbs is special to you,,or am i wrong ?

Those "dreams" sound like "night terrors" to me. You can try seeking professional help, but the only real cure is to get a double rifle.
Then it will be "sweet dreams" every night.
