Hey geezors,
took some time , but i get the contact to the seller.
As it seems he couldnt sell the gun, the last time.
However...i already get some pics , of which i like to post this one here, because u can see the stemps of the barrels.

Anybody who can tell m e anything about these stamps ?

Thxs in advance

Konst.

P.S: hope i get some more pics. If so, i will post them here!

The "B.PLOMB" mark clearly indicates this rifle was proofed with non-jacketed plain lead bullets, which means it is intended for black powder or light nitro-for-black loads, but not full nitro express loads. The oval-with-AF is the mark of August Francotte, oval-with-ELG is standard Belgian proof, lion-over-PV is smokeless powder proof, crown-over-R is long gun proof.

The standard nitro-for-black load is a 365 gr. bullet at about 1800 fps. It's a great round for nearly any size non-dangerous game.
