.510 caliber Swift A-Frames

I bought 50 of the new .510 caliber 570g Swift A-Frames at SCI Reno. Hope to try them on some North American game a few times this year... They had some example bullets shot into their test media/tank from 1500 fps to 2250 fps. They all looked real good.

Chuck,
I also picked up some from Bill at DSC, waiting for it to warm up a little to shoot them out of the 500 N.E. They look very close to a Woodleigh bullet.

If you do any penetration/expansion testing please let me know. I'll be using them on elk this fall, found a great spot to hunt near home (Park County Colorado where we just bought some land) and have a guided trip (just inexpensive cow elk in Northern New Mexico) for myself and my boys. I'll be bringing the 500 Jeffery ... Working up to a cape buffalo hunt in 2011 or 2012 I hope.
