I am going to shoot speer 350 mag tips and barnes 300tsx out of my 416 ruger, does anybody know what powder would be a good bet, cant find much load data for these bullets..thanks

i have tried to make loads for 350 tsx but safari arms made some for me that are accurate 2650 fps and I have no idea what powder is used but I could not handload anything better so i just had him load me a bunch. I was shooting a four inch orange dot at 360 yards with with no problem

I just tested 76.5 gr H4895 with the Speer in my 416 Ruger Alaskan. Shot very accurate. I didn't chrono the loads, not yet anyway. I believe this load is under max, yet potent enough. Cases do not show signs of overpressure.

I use BL-C(2) with 350 Mag-Tips in my 416 Remington, and the case capacity is almost the same. Accurate 2520, Varget and RL-15 are all excellent, too.
