Ruger RSM conversion to LH bolt
Fellow big bore types;

I have been thinking about a bolt action in 416 Rigby or perhaps 458 Lott as a project gun. As a lefty, I have been relying on a No. 1 in 416 Rigby and although it shoots very well, I have a mind to go to a magazine rifle.

Does anyone know of successful attempts to convert a Ruger magnum rifle to left hand bolt?

Comments/opinions appreciated.

Nope, have not seen it happen. Maybe sumbuddyelsewhoknow?
I think that would be an expensive proposition.
It does not make sense when CZ is turning out 550 Magnum actions in left hand.
If you are really stuck on getting an integral quarter rib for cheap, it would probably be cheaper to buy the barrel and a CZ action, then get AHR trigger, safety, and bolt handle job.

Was not aware anyone was making magnum LH actions. Changes my plan. Thanks.

I'll check in to availability.

AHR had one ( a CZ in in LH) a while back. Check with Bitterroot who posts here.

Edit: Here is one of several threads on the "Lefties" board here.
