MatthewxI have one and love it. I put an Eotech 512 on it and get minute of pepsi at 20 yards except when the can ruptures. I had my friend build a couple more on H & R single shots for me because I liked it so much. I would post pics but they are off to the annodiser.

Idaho SharpshooterI bought a golf ball launcher about a year ago from
www.cheaperthandirt.com for $30 including shipping.
I'm trying to work up the nerve to shoot it across the chronograph. You can buy cut/nicked range balls for about a quarter apiece. If you can find them they hold up quite well for 8-10 firings.
I wonder if you could drink the soda, and just fill the empty ones (about 80%)with water and freeze them. Weight would be about the same, velocity would go up a little, and the results would be spectacular!!
Plaster of Paris would be pretty cool as well, depending on weight.
Many years ago I owned a post-Civil War Parrott Rifle. The small juice cans full of Plaster of Paris were a pretty good seal, and you could shoot them about half a mile with about six ounces of black cannon powder.

SaeedMade one years ago with an old 22 hornet.
I cut the barrel short, made an aluminium adapter which had one end grooved to take a can, and the other end to fit on the barrel.
I used 22 hornet blanks I made myself.
Launched the can very high, so the kids could shoot them with 410 shotguns.
I will see where that launcher is and post photos.

FjoldIn high school shop class (many, many years ago) I made a beer can sized cannon out of schedule 160 pipe.
With 1 Lbs. of gunpowder and a beer can filled with concrete, it would shoot over a mile.
