Ken Clinebrushes/jags for big bores over .458
I know this was answered a while back but I can't seem to find the topic. I need to know where I can get brushes and/or jags for calibers over .458. I know some of the muzzleloader stuff will work for 50 cal's, but what about .470, etc. Thanks!

Hi Ken,
Huntington's carries brushes for 50 caliber which you can use for .475.

old4x4Depending on caliber, try muzzleloading jags and brushes...it's worth a shot..

Hi old4x4,
I think you will find the threads are different on some of the muzzle loader brushes.I bought some Butler Creek Muzzle loader 50 cal brushes and they will not fit my Accupro cleaning rod.

aHunterThe threads are 8-32 regular and 10-32 black powder. Adaptors from Brownells and Uncle Mikes and perhaps others ( look up Midway or Cabelas search functions or black powder pages ).
