WoodjackSako, what a joke!
http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976574859.htmAll they have gone and done is grab a Sako Safari($2500?),and punched acouple more numbers on the reciever. Then called it a limited "Aniversary Edition".
The only limit I would Like to see, Is one that stops such pathetic, mediocre efforts as seen above. They have a real hide to price such a rifle the way they have. My local shop had one,and sold it!

there is no shortage of imbeciles in this world.
Heres alittle more info:

schromfActually its not a bad looking rifle, for $3500-4000 it would actually be intersting.
Is that the going price range from Sako? or has someone inflated this for a gunboker deal?

Sorry guys, but there has never been a bolt action rifle that is worth $18,200 US,no matter who built it, and certainly not a PF Sako!

HunterJim"Negets" MacD, it is a controlled-feed rifle now. The factory introduced these rifles a few years back, priced then at $15,000. I thought the method of the PF-->CRF transition was interesting, and apparently USRAC/Winchester thought so too: their controlled-push feed copies it.
There was a fair amount of discussion here on the Gunsmith Forum IIRC when this model appeared.
So it is over-priced by a bunch. Look at that as the tax for moving from PF to CRF!
