My rifle builder/custom loader just asked me to check around and see if anyone is interested in some FACTORY Hornady ammo in 416 Ruger with 400 grain Hornady DGS solids. Another customer of his got a nice surprise from his wife, who bought him 9 boxes of 416 Ruger Hornady DHS ammo. Only problem is, his 416 is a 416 Remington, not the Ruger.

He’d like $110/box.

That’s a thought, but the guy with the ammo already has a 416 Remington. He could build a 416 Ruger but that’s an expensive solution to a small problem.

Many rifles have been brought for a lot less of a reason.
