Re: Barns .505 Caliber Bullets?
The only Barnes .505 I know of is the 600 gr Super Solid. They haven't made any other yet.

Several folks have referenced .505 caliber bullets from Barns in their Gibbs loads. My question is where in the devil did they find them? I don't see this caliber as being available in any catalog or on Barns website.

The only bullets I've found are are Woodleighs -- not that this represents any kind of problem. I love Woodleighs, but variety is the spice of life.

While I'm at it, which weight Woodleigh, 525 or 600-grain, would be most effective in the Gibbs (as if anything you hit with either one would care)?
