Woodrow SYes, I have taken them to S.A. about 1 month ago and their performance was very good. I shot the 260gr Accubond out of my Model 70 Safari Classic @2750 fps and my Reeder custom 378 GNR 12"bbl Encore @2350fps. I shot a Gemsbok, Blk. Wildebeest and Kudu with the Encore and a Warthog, Blesbok and Burchells Zebra with the rifle. Perfect mushrooms with most of the bullets under the hide on the off side with the Encore. The bullets shot out of the rifle with the increased velocity were pass throughs except for the Warthog, which was almost a pass through. Their shoulders are very tough I will tell you. I am completely satisfied with their terminal performance and they are accurate to boot. I would rate them just as good as the Partition in terminal toughness plus they are less costly which will lead to a little more load development and practice. Many of the other 9 hunters sharing the camp were also shooting the same cartridges and the same handguns/rifles and we all experienced about the same performance. The Hornady Interbond in .280 cal. also performed well on several animals too.

Ditto. I had great success in namibia, most full pass throughs, the 3 recovered were good mushrooms, 75% retention, the one around 55% was a 40 yd shot through both shoulders of a mtn zebra. Very accurate. Can't go wrong on plains game. bob

Blake 70My friends and I have shot bison and elk with both a .375 H&H and a .375 Black Mesa Express. They have performed great and will be going on a plains game hunt in South Africa in August. They are accurate and really hammer elk.
