Need Help from 460 Weatherby Owner/Shooter
Hello guys,

I'm partway through developing some "Tropical" loads for the 460 Weatherby. I am physically (health wise) unable to get outside to shoot a .223, let alone a 460 WBY.

I'm hoping that someone who owns (and more or less regularly shoots) "the big one", would be willing to run some ammo through a chronograph for me.

Someone in SW Idaho would be ideal, but I'm happy to ship the test ammo anywhere in CONUS.

The good news is that the velocity (hence recoil) will be less than factory ammunition.

Also this is not a case of reduced loads of slow burning powders, hence no hangfires, etc.

After the formal testing, I'll reload the empties for the tester with practice rounds of hard cast, heat treated and gas checked lead bullets from Beartooth Bullets. Those loads are perfect for deer, elk and moose; big hole, no blood shot meat.

If anyone is interested, please PM or e-mail me. (My e-mail is in my profile).

Many thanks,

LD
