Does anyone know the barrel profile of the new 458 Lott chambering? What is the muzzle diameter? Please do a quick measurement if you have one. I wonder if it is the same profile as the existing 416 Rigby. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was just going to clean mine and saw your message.

Here are the numbers I measured:

Muzzle: .750"
Site Barrel Band: .875"
At Stock Fore-end: .860"

Thanks Steve for the info. Apparently, they use the same barrel profile for the 458 Lott as the 416 Rigby. I was hoping they would use a larger barrel profile for the new chambering so we can turn it into something bigger with the same factory barrel.

I don't know the exact dimensions, but it looks like a water pipe.
