Anyone try this?
Has anyone tried 416 Rigby cases in a 500 A Square?

If I run the Rigby through the 500 FL die I get a slight belt. Cross sections of the case show the belt to be, for all practical purposes, in the same position relative to the internal geometry of the case.

The "belt" diameter of the 416 Rigby brass measures 0.588" - 0.589". The belt diameter on the 460 Weatherby (500 A Square) measures 0.598" to 0.600". So that is a difference of 0.0045" to 0.006" per side. I am thinking that ain't much and using my substantial inventory of 416 Rigby cases for the 500 A Square may in fact be feasible. That is the reason for the question.

Thanks

I am guessing that the answer may be no though.
