Mickey1Help me see
What tricks or gadgets can be used to help 'old eyes' see iron sights for fine sighting work from a bench? I heard about some sort of thing you put on your glasses that forces you to look through a pin prick that helps you focus. What is it and does it work? Any other options?
Thanks in advance

Michael RobinsonDave's right. I use the Merit device for all precision handgun shooting. Don't need it (yet

) for rifles/shotguns.
Here's a link to the website:

MarkI've posted this before, but the cheap, quick, and dirty way is to take a piece of electrical tape and put a small hole in it and stick it to your shooting glasses.
Instant aperture.
