Were to go for Big Bores and general rifle shooting in Denver?
Well since we have shown our house 8 times this weekend and two of them are second showing it is starting to sink in that this old boy and his wife will be heading west this summer.

We will be relocating to the Parker (south Denver) area of Co. Had to give up on the plan to build on our lot in Conifer. Anyone need a mtn lot. LOL

Anyway need info on where to so some simple sighing in as well as shooting in the Front range area.

As usual just my $.02

Easily the most fun related to double rifles in the state of Colorado would be Ellis Brown's annual "Elephant hunt", this year happening on the 8th of August. here is a link

a .500 Jeffery is not only allowed but is encouraged. If you are not ready this year with your gear, come on out anyway. Most of us have extra ammo on hand and letting others try out your stuff and being able to try others toys is what makes it so fun. Not to mention they are a great bunch of guys. I'm up in Boulder and have a gunsmith shop there that has a focus on British guns, doubles etc. Stop in and say hello if you are in the area.

Thanks, I know for sure the gear won't b e unpacked and ready to play. I've got it marked on the calendar. It will depend on timing of the close and move. Don't think the wife will want me to disappear the first weekend we are in CO. LOL We will see.

FWIW, the "Elephant Shoot" date posted is for 2009. I would double check and see if he has posted the 2010 one yet.
