What type bullet points do you prefer for Buffalo,Round Nose or Spire or Semi Spire Points? Or does it even make any difference? thanks rws2

If useing a solid I like Blunt nose, or wide flat meplat, and both conventional, and mono-metel solids!

If useing soft points I like roundnose like the Woodliegh,in my doubles or the simi pointed like the Nosler Partition, and Swift A-frame, in my bolt rifles!

Conventional wisdom would dictate the use of pointed bullets for improved ballistics should they be required to fly for a while before encountering the target. This is seldom the case when buffalo are the intended quarry.

I like round noses myself, a product of many years of favourable experience with Woodleighs.
